We are 30!
CADS was formed in 1996 by a group of friends. Our premier production was "Will You Take This Woman".
Since then, we have performed a Pantomime and Comedy most years.
As the years have passed, members have come and gone but we still exist with some original founding members and lots of people who have joined along the way.
We have gone from strength to strength and become well known in the local areas, attracting regular and new audience members year on year.
We perform in the Crofton Community Centre in Stubbington in January and June each year, welcoming audiences in excess of 100 for Pantomimes.
We are extremely lucky to have a wide range of members across the years, from stage performers, to technical specialists, writers, designers and stage crew.
2026 marks our 30th year of performing and we are very proud to still be performing in Stubbington.
We will soon be working on our Pantomime for January 2027 which will be our 27th Pantomime!
New members are always welcome so why not come along for a taster to see what we do? You can find details about us on our webpage.
We also hold a stall at the annual Stubbington Donkey Derby where you can come and have a chat, take a flyer and help support the group.

‘Dick Wittington’ is our upcoming panto to be performed on 22nd - 25th January 2026 at the Crofton Community Centre, Stubbington.
Thursday/Friday performances are at 7:30pm, and Saturday/Sunday performances at 2:30pm.

unbeknownst to us, this was not flagged to us until some of you approached us in person to say you had not heard back from us.

Malcolm has village life in his veins. He's chairman of the village fete committee, and was the title holder for biggest marrow. That was until Father Mike took it from him last year.
Though Malcolm plays a key role in the village of Thornton, it seems that many of the other villagers are growing tired of some of his ways.
When Ray Martin, an actor from a popular TV detective show opens the village fete, will he have more than just a speech to occupy his time!

Wow! Just...WOW!
Such an AMAZING set of performances for the 2024 Panto! From the hecklers on Thursday (we love you guys! Keep it up! ) to the little ones joining in with the finale dance on Saturday (hearts on stage were well and truly melted... So adorable!), it has been such an amazing panto this year
Thank you all so, so much for coming to see us. It keeps us going and makes it all worth it

Just a quick note to say that We've had some reports that banners around stubbington village and the surrounding areas are showing that the start time for saturday and sunday is 2pm.
The actual start time (as per the flyer here) is 2:30pm, with doors opening at 2pm.
